BlurIt is designed with privacy at its core. Unlike traditional photo apps, we do not operate a central server for your images.

• Images: All image editing and blurring are performed locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your images on our servers.
• Local Settings: Your preferences, such as screenshot detection and Pro status, are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
• Anonymity: We do not require account creation and do not collect personal identification information like names or phone numbers.

Subscription and Payment Data

For Pro purchases, payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.

• We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details.
• RevenueCat maintains anonymized transaction IDs to validate your access to premium features.

Advertising (Free Version)

For users of the free version, we show ads through Google AdMob.

• AdMob may collect device identifiers and IP addresses to serve relevant ads.
• Pro users do not see advertisements, and no advertising data is collected for them.
• You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

Data Usage

Information collected (mostly locally) is used to:

• Provide the image editing and screenshot detection services.
• Verify and restore Pro feature access.
• Improve app functionality and user experience.

• Full Local Processing: No sensitive image data ever leaves your device.

BlurIt is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
